A product leader with a design foundation.

I'm a product manager who started in industrial design, sketching, prototyping, and shipping physical products long before I wrote a PRD. That path left me obsessed with the seams: where hardware meets software, where a pricing model meets a first-time user, where a roadmap meets the reality of the field.

In practice that means I sit close to the work. I'll ride along with the people who use the thing, argue for the cut that makes the product simpler, and hold the line on quality when it would be easier to ship more. I'd rather own one decision that mattered than a backlog that didn't.

The job itself is changing too. It is no longer writing a PRD that no human will read, but writing a spec that an AI can read and re-articulate in the format each group needs. Some groups still live in docs, so I meet them where they are. The rule is the same either way: spend brain-tokens, not ai-tokens.
